Sale of New/Pre-Owned Instruments (buyers)
All pre-owned instruments are entitled to a check and service within 3 months of purchase (for pre-owned instruments) or 12 months of purchase (for new wooden instruments) to allow time for the instrument to be played. Postage costs are not included.
We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase, we understand that on occasion you may wish to return an item. All goods sold are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, which allow for a seven day 'cooling off' period during which you may cancel your order (in writing) by sending us a letter or e-mail at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which you received your purchase. Having notified us that you wish to cancel your order, goods must be returned to RecorderShopLondon.co.uk within 14 days after date of receiving the item, for a refund or exchange, provided that:
- The goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.
- The goods are a normal stock item and have not been specially ordered at the customer's request.
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is produced. The item purchase price will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation - delivery charges are non refundable unless the goods are faulty.
New or Used instruments are subject to the condition above with an extended 30 day trial period. An instrument may be returned within this time providing it has not been excessively played or damaged in anyway. RecorderShopLondon.co.uk reserves the right to deduct any charges from any refundable amount if work or service is deemed necessary upon the return of an instrument.
The item purchase price will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation - delivery charges are non refundable unless the goods are faulty.

Description Of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the descriptions and photographic images of our products are representative of the items and are correct at the time of going to press. However, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
Please note that while we make every effort to update the website as frequently as possible, on rare occasions stock advertised on the site may sell out before it can be removed. We will of course inform you as soon as possible when such instances occur and an estimated delivery date, refund or replacement can be given.
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication. We reserve the right to alter the price at any time.
We typically use standard Royal Mail postal services such as 1st or 2nd class post. There is a minimum postage and packaging charge of £4.99. Total postage costs are calculated for each individual order. Orders are typically dispatched within 3-5 days.
When purchasing used instruments with a value over £50, Special delivery must be chosen at the checkout.
If items are out of stock or are to be delivered later than expected we will contact you as soon as possible. New or pre-owned Instruments may require additional time to allow for checks before being posted.
Customers are resposible for any import or customs duties applied by their own country.
RecorderShopLondon.co.uk makes every effort to use recycled packaging materials where possible.
We take every care to package your order so it arrives safely, however if your items arrive damaged, please let us know via email or our contact form within 24 hours and we will arrange a full refund or replacement where possible. After this time we cannot accept responsibility for damage reported.
We may ask you to take a photograph of the damaged item and the packaging it arrived in. All original packaging is to be retained as may be required for postage compensation.
The contents of these pages (including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, text written and other materials) are the property of RecorderShopLondon.co.uk and must not be used without permission.
We will NOT give your contact information to any other company or individual, so you will not receive marketing material from anybody else. Our email mailing list can be joined by completing your details on the website front page. You can unsubscribe by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the email which will automatically remove you our mailing list.
